When compiled for alsa, I cannot set the capture level for recording. When adjusting the slider it just drops back to the bottom once released. This happened to me a couple of months ago when I compiled from svn and now with the packages provided by my distro (ubuntu running dapper). Other alsa mixers work fine (alsamixer, alsamixergui). When xfce4-mixer is compiled with oss support I can adjust the capture level by using igain slider, which I was using as a workaround but dapper no longer seems to provide the oss version.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch mixer
2. adjust capture level
3. release and it will drop to the bottom

Actual Results:
The slider goes to zero

Expected Results:
I expect it to set the slider as desired. Btw I can see that it's not even correctly mapped to capture as I left alsamixer open in a terminal and I can see that the slider is not moving.

I _think_ it works now. I can't find my microphone and am too lazy to build a sine generator, so dunno :)

Please test.
